New Asian Express service to run between Hong Kong and Haiphong
ASIAN EXPRESS Line (AEL) Vietnam has announced the maiden voyage of its Hong Kong-Haiphong (HES) Service on March 14 as part of regular calls deploying 560-TEU class ships with additional capacity for general and oversized cargo.
In a statement, the Haiphong-based AEL Vietnam said it will expand container liner services throughout Asia from its recently opened Hong Kong regional office, and announce additional routes in the second half of 2010.
"AEL Vietnam is a new shipping line registered in 2009," said AEL general manager KC Yu in a company statement. "We belong to SME Holdings JSC, which has diversified from logistics into the container liner business."
AEL Vietnam has established its "high quality containership services' in response to the growing from its long-term partner-customers in Asia.
